Nigerian social media influencer and activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as *Very Dark Man* (VDM), has publicly apologized to renowned legal practitioner Femi Falana after being accused of tarnishing his image.
The apology came after Falana threatened to sue VDM for defamation following the release of an audio recording in which it was alleged that Falana was involved in helping Bobrisky secure a presidential pardon for a fee of ten million Naira.
During a hearing with the House of Representatives Joint Committee on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions, VDM used the platform to express his remorse, clarifying that he did not believe Falana was involved in the bribery claims. He also appealed to Falana’s son, Falz, to drop the lawsuit filed against him.
In a follow-up Instagram post, VDM wrote, “Your father Femi Falana remains our father in the struggle… Much love,” further extending his apology to the respected senior lawyer.
