Nigerian singer Spyro recently opened up about his struggles with fornication and the toll it has taken on his conscience.
In a candid Instagram post on September 3, 2024, Spyro shared his internal conflict, admitting that while sex initially felt pleasurable, it soon became a source of significant moral turmoil. He confessed, “SEX felt good till I could no longer bear struggling with my conscience. 🤦🏾‍♂️”
Known for being vocal about his faith, Spyro revealed that each time he engaged in premarital sex, he was left feeling uneasy. He wrote, “Every time I ‘forget,’ knowing I ain’t married to the person, I feel troubled, like a part of me gets taken right after… I struggled for a while but I kept praying for strength, and when the time came, I disengaged from all lingering connections at the time.”
Acknowledging the challenges of maintaining celibacy, Spyro pledged to reserve himself for his future wife. “It hasn’t been easy, especially when I travel and these clean girls begin to get funny around me 🤦🏾‍♂️ and promoters never make it easy too but now they know 🤣 but yea I am keeping this bed for ONE now,” he continued.
