In a strong endorsement of Kwara State Governor Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq CON, Rep. Muktar Tolani Shagaya has praised the governor’s forward-thinking approach to rural infrastructure development. Shagaya commended the recent flag-off of the 209.77Km rural road project at Madi-Peeke Road, Asa/Ilorin West LGA, under the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), noting that it reflects the governor’s dedication to boosting socio-economic growth, particularly by opening up rural areas for agriculture and investment opportunities.
Shagaya highlighted that the project will create substantial economic benefits for the people of Kwara State by improving road access, which will streamline the transportation of goods and increase agricultural output. He congratulated the people of Kwara on this achievement, which he believes will attract more investors and accelerate development in both rural and urban areas.
In addition to applauding Governor Abdulrazaq’s efforts, Shagaya acknowledged the backing of traditional rulers and the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union in supporting the state’s progress. He further engaged with Asa Local Government officials, including newly elected Chairman Alhaji Shehu Yahaya, Vice Chairman Hajia Issa Rasheedah Omowumi, and council members.
