NBA Ilorin welcomes delegates, expresses gratitude for Senator Mustapha’s Support at AGC

The NBA Ilorin branch has expressed its deep appreciation to Senator Saliu Mustapha for his significant support of members attending the 2024 Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual General Conference (AGC) in Lagos.

In a statement welcoming members back from the AGC, the branch highlighted Senator Mustapha’s generous contribution towards transportation and accommodation for those registered with the branch’s scheme. The statement noted, “I am pleased to announce that the Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has generously supported our members who registered with the branch’s transportation and/or accommodation scheme to the 2024 NBA Annual General Conference holding in Lagos. This thoughtful gesture has indeed ensured that our members participated fully in the all-important event of the AGC.”

The branch further acknowledged Senator Mustapha’s ongoing commitment to the legal profession and the local branch, stating, “I want to acknowledge that the latest act of support from Senator Mustapha reaffirms his long-standing reputation as a true friend of the Bar and particularly our branch. Over the years, he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the legal profession and the welfare of lawyers through regular support and outreach to the branch.”

Additionally, the statement extended gratitude to other supporters, including Hon. Abdulkadir Oba Magaji, Majority Leader of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Dr. Taiye Oniyide (SAN), Mr. Tafa Ahmed, and Mr. Abubakar Gambari, for their contributions towards the success of the AGC.

The branch also celebrated the safe return of its members and expressed eagerness to continue its positive relationship with Senator Mustapha and other supporters, emphasizing the commitment to uphold democracy, constitutionalism, justice, and the rule of law in Nigeria.
