The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Kwara Axis, has praised the KAB Foundation for its significant contribution to the educational advancement of students across Kwara state. The Foundation, chaired by renowned philanthropist Engr. Kehinde A. Bankole, recently launched a scholarship portal designed to support students in various tertiary institutions in Kwara state.
The initiative by the KAB Foundation aims to alleviate the financial burden on many parents while encouraging academic excellence among students. By providing these scholarships, the Foundation ensures that deserving students can continue their educational sojourn without the stress of financial constraints.
According to the press statement signed by the Secretary General of the Apex students association in the state, Comrade Ahmed Funsho Hadnan, expressed deep appreciation for KAB Foundation’s efforts. He noted that the Foundation’s contribution is invaluable and will have a lasting and positive impact on the lives of the beneficiaries, promoting a brighter future for Kwara State’s youth.
NANS, the umbrella body representing millions of Nigerian students nationwide, has long been an advocate for the rights and welfare of students. The State axis’s leadership views the KAB Foundation’s initiative as an exemplary act of philanthropy, deserving of both commendation and partnership.
In a call to action, NANS Kwara urged other organizations, philanthropists, and well-meaning individuals to follow KAB Foundation’s lead by supporting educational initiatives that empower the youth and contribute to societal development.
