Popular Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, has advised young, career-driven women to consider starting a family early in life, emphasizing the importance of balancing family and career growth.

In a recent interview on *Nollywood on Radio*, Bakare explained that building a family early can allow women to focus on advancing their careers later on.

“If you aspire to be a superstar and successful in your career as a young woman, I would advise you to start a family early. That way, you can dedicate your later years to your career, as family is very important,” Bakare said.

She shared her own experience, noting that she wasn’t initially focused on marriage when she had her first child, stating, “I never thought of marriage. When I had my first child, I just wanted a baby.”

Bakare clarified that her advice isn’t solely about getting married early but rather about prioritizing family. “So the advice is not to get married early but to start having a family,” she concluded.
