The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter, extends its warmest congratulations to His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
In a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Ismail Ayodeji, and Assistant Secretary, Sodiq Adebara, SWAN commended the Governor for his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the development of Kwara State.
The association lauded his visionary approach in advancing various sectors, particularly sports, which has seen a remarkable transformation under his stewardship.
SWAN described Governor AbdulRazaq as a leader who has not only prioritized infrastructure and economic growth but also ensured that sports development receives the attention it deserves, bringing pride and unity to the people of Kwara. His support for sports has empowered athletes, promoted healthy living, and fostered a sense of community spirit throughout the state.
“As His Excellency marks this milestone, we pray for continued good health, wisdom, and success in his leadership. We urge the Governor to remain dedicated to the welfare of the people of Kwara, and continue to drive the state towards greater progress,” the statement said.
The association also reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the government to promote the development of sports and enhance good governance through positive media engagement.
