Kwara State Polytechnic increase workers’ salary by 20,000

Kwara State Polytechnic management has announced that Part-time staff of the institution shall henceforth enjoy a N20,000 increment in their salary.

This much was confirmed via a statement signed by Engr. Ahmed Kazeem Director of Continuing Center Education (CCE) and released to newsmen in Ilorin on Monday.

“Dear Kwara State Polytechnic Part-time Staff, we are thrilled to inform you that your monthly salary will be increased by N20,000, effective from this month. This is a wonderful news, and we are grateful to the Rector, Dr. Abdul Jimoh, for his kind gesture and commitment to staff welfare.” The statement said.

Dr. Jimoh’s tenure has been marked by progressive reforms, including digitalization of administrative processes and partnerships with industry leaders to enhance student employability. This latest initiative reinforces his reputation as a leader attuned to both staff and student needs.

The Polytechnic has pledged to continue reviewing staff welfare policies, with further announcements expected in the coming months. For now, part-time employees can celebrate a tangible step toward financial stability and recognition.
