A young prodigy from kwara State, Taiye Abdulateef, has joined Greek giant and European Champions, Olympiacos.
In a groundbreaking transfer, 18 year old Nigerian football star Taiye Abdulateef has signed a four-year deal with Greek giants Olympiacos from his Nigeria root academy “Unicorns Football Academy” in Ilorin.
Victor Awoniyi, the CEO of the academy, announced the move on Thursday, confirming that Abdulateef has joined the Under 19 squad of the reigning European Conference League champions.
Known for his flash pace, skill, and goal scoring prowess, Abdulateef has made a sensational start to his Olympiacos journey. In his debut for the U19 team, he scored a goal and provided two assists, leaving fans and coaches impressed
According to Awoniyi, this move marks a significant milestone in Abdulateef’s career development, offering him top-notch training facilities and competition that will further refine his skills and prepare him for a successful professional career.
