Kwara govt welcomes stakeholders back to school, reaffirms commitment to quality education

The Kwara State Government has welcomed the teachers, learners, parents, and stakeholders back to school.

The schools are slated for reopening on September 15, 2025, for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This was contained in the statement put on the verified Facebook page of the Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe.

He expressed appreciation to all stakeholders for their resilience and support. Quoting Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, he said:

“We deeply value the sacrifices and commitment of our teachers, learners, parents, and partners. Your support for our education reforms is the strength behind the progress we are making. Together, we are building a system that gives every child in Kwara access to quality and inclusive education.”

The Commissioner reaffirmed the government’s commitment to a safe, conducive, and technology-driven learning environment, noting that recent reforms and improved examination results reflect the positive impact of Governor AbdulRazaq’s leadership.

The ministry wishes everyone a fruitful and rewarding academic year.
