Kwara Central Senator congratulates new Oloro of Oro, Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye

The Turaki of Ilorin and Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Highness, Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye, on his official ascension to the throne as the new Oloro of Oro Kingdom.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Nasif Sholagberu, Senator Mustapha hailed the appointment of Oba Joel Titiloye by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, calling it “a round peg in a round hole,” reflecting the monarch’s suitability for the revered position.

He also lauded the prompt presentation of the staff of office by the state government to the new monarch, which symbolizes the government’s recognition of the new monarch’s capacity to lead and inspire.

Senator Mustapha described Oba Joel Titiloye as a young visionary leader, well-equipped with the wisdom, patience, and leadership qualities required to steer Oro Kingdom towards greater prosperity.

He expressed confidence that under Oba Titiloye’s reign, Oro Kingdom would continue to flourish and contribute significantly to the social, cultural, and economic development of Kwara State.

The legislator also praised the monarch’s longstanding commitment to the preservation and promotion of Nigeria’s cultural heritage as a cultural ambassador, citing his efforts to showcase the Ilorin Durbar during an international cultural event in Canada, further solidifying Nigeria’s global cultural footprint.

Senator Mustapha therefore urged the people of Oro Kingdom to unite behind their new monarch, stressing the importance of communal harmony and cooperation to ensure a peaceful and progressive reign.

He expressed his prayer that the reign of Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye will usher in a new era of peace, prosperity, and unprecedented development for the people of Oro Kingdom and beyond.
