Veteran music executive, Jude Okoye has come forward to share his side of the story amid the ongoing feud with his brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye, famously known as P-Square. The long-standing rift between the siblings escalated recently after Peter, Mr. P, released an open letter in response to Paul, Rudeboy, accusing him of involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in their personal matters.
In a recent video posted on his Instagram page, Jude Okoye detailed the series of events that led to his arrest by the EFCC and the P-Square split. He revealed that he has had no professional affiliation with P-Square for over eight years and expressed bewilderment over why Peter allegedly reported him to the anti-graft agency.
Jude recounted how he spent his birthday in EFCC custody, where he was questioned about his private business dealings. He firmly stated that his wife, Ify, should not be dragged into the controversy, as she has no involvement in the ongoing dispute.
In the video, Jude Okoye hinted at releasing more evidence on Monday to provide further clarity on his relationship with his brothers and to substantiate his claims. As the feud continues to unfold, fans and followers of the Okoye brothers are eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this family saga.
“EFCC are doing a very good job, they’re very thorough. If you do anything illegal and EFCC put their torchlight on you there’s no way you can run away. They told me monies I changed 10 to 16 years ago that I can’t even remember”
