Member representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Muktar Shagaya, commences Medical outreach Monday 2nd, September 2024, for members of his constituency.
In a detailed statement provided to newsmen in Ilorin on Sunday, Hon. Shagaya said;
“The health and well-being of our communities significantly influence productivity and overall quality of life, and that is why we are collaborating with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector to conduct a four-day medical outreach program for communities in Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency.”
“From September 2nd to 5th, our dedicated medical team will conduct a comprehensive outreach program across four strategic locations: *Government High School in Adeta, Ilorin; ECWA Primary School in Taiwo, Ilorin; the Aishat Buhari Child Care Hospital, Eyenkorin; and Afon Town Hall.*”
“During this free medical outreach, our healthcare specialists will be conducting general medical consultations, vital tests, treatments, and drug dispensation. This wide range of services ensures comprehensive care for the hundreds of people who have already registered for the event.”
“Through this outreach, we will tackle certain tropical diseases that are prevalent in rural settlements and other general health challenges. We believe that healthcare should be accessible to all, regardless of location or financial status.” The statement concluded.
