Gaa Aremu Youth Movement gets new leadership

The Gaa Aremu Youth Movement has witnessed a peaceful transition of leadership as new executives were inaugurated to pilot the affairs of the association for the next tenure.

The new leadership team, inaugurated on Sunday, November 30th, 2025, is tasked with fostering unity, peace, and sustainable development within the community. The newly elected officers are:
1. Mr. AbdulAkeem Shuaib Mogaji — Chairman
2. Mr. AbdulQodir AbdulRaheem Sakofi — Vice Chairman
3. Mr. AbdulMaleek Funsho Olosan — Secretary
4. Mr. Babatunde AbdulRafiu Sakofi — Treasurer
5. Muhammed Shaeed Osioyemi — PRO

In his remarks, the outgoing chairman, Mr. AbdulRaheem Oniyere, expressed his profound gratitude to the members of the association for the opportunity to serve. He commended the collective efforts of the youths toward community development and urged the new executives to lead with humility, transparency, and genuine love for Gaa Aremu.

“Leadership is about service, not position,” he said. “I encourage the new leaders to always put the interest of our community above personal gains and to work together for peace and progress.”

The new chairman, Mr. AbdulAkeem Mogaji, in his acceptance speech, appreciated the trust reposed in him and promised to build on the achievements of his predecessors while prioritizing youth empowerment and community harmony.

The event marks a renewed commitment to collective growth and the strengthening of unity among the youths of Gaa Aremu.
