On Thursday 5th June, Alhaji Yahaya Olayiwola Ajia Memorial Foundation gave out cash to widows in celebration of Eid-l-Kabir.
In a grand event which took place at the foundation’s head office, No. 26 AbudlAzeez Attah Road, Agaka, Ilorin Kwara State.
Beneficiaries of the intervention were drawn from across various wards in Ilorin, and the beneficiaries were about 200.
The chairman of the foundation, Dr. Abdulmumeen Yinka Ajia, while speaking with the newsmen, stressed that the foundation would not back down in its efforts to give back to the community, uplift the people out of vulnerability, and ensure that the legacies of his late parent are not faded.
He charged other well-to-do Kwarans not to relent in their efforts to help the less privileged.
Dr. Ajia also prayed for Kwarans during the festive period and hope they enjoy the holidays.
