Sean “Diddy” Combs, the American rap icon, is now under suicide watch following his recent arrest on serious charges, including sex trafficking, kidnapping, and racketeering. The hip-hop mogul is being monitored at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail twice within a week, according to people Magazine’s September 19, 2024 report.

Diddy’s legal team offered a substantial $50 million bail package, even putting up his $48 million mansion on Miami’s Star Island as collateral. Despite these efforts, the court denied the bid, citing him as a flight risk. In an unusual request, his lawyers also proposed house arrest under strict conditions, including no female visitors, yet this was swiftly rejected by the judge.

Prosecutors accuse Combs of running a criminal enterprise since at least 2008, using drugs and violence to allegedly force women to “fulfill his sexual desires.” If convicted, the music producer could face 15 years to life behind bars.

His arrest follows months of investigation, including federal raids in March 2024 at his properties in Los Angeles and Miami, where authorities seized 1,000 bottles of lubricant and three AR-15 rifles.

As he prepares for his next court appearance, the high-profile case continues to unfold his relationship with stars all over the world leaving the entertainment world in shock.
