Nigerian singer Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane, has made serious allegations against fellow artist David Adeleke, better known as Davido.

In a recent post on his official X page (formerly Twitter), Dammy Krane claimed that Davido paid police officers to influence his arrest.

According to Dammy Krane, his detention was a result of a petition allegedly orchestrated by Davido and his associates, falsely accusing him of involvement in a Flutterwave and cryptocurrency scam. “They wrote a petition lying that I am into Flutterwave & Crypto scam just to arrest me,” Dammy Krane shared on his X page.

Expressing his distress, Dammy Krane appealed to Nigerians for help, stating, “Nigeria, I’m being arrested and oppressed for seeking justice.” He further warned, “If anything happens to me @davido should be held responsible.”The singer, who has had a history of disputes with Davido, including claims that the “Unavailable” hitmaker owes him money, compared his situation to that of the late musician Mohbad.

Dammy Krane cautioned that tragedy should not be a prerequisite for justice to be served. “That’s what happened to Mohbad; he didn’t have to die before people sought justice. Nigeria, please don’t fail me,” he wrote.

Dammy Krane also took a shot at Davido’s supporters, stating, “Disclaimer: to the humans viewing/observing, any negative comments are from @davido’s delusional fans/family.”
