Popular Nigerian skit maker Emmanuel Ogonna Iwueke, better known as Crazeclown, has expressed his excitement over the rapid growth of the skitmaking industry. In a recent interview with Hip TV, Crazeclown, who gained fame for his iconic role as Papa Ade, reflected on how far the industry has come.

“I just love the fact that skit-making is becoming a big industry now. People used to look down on the content industry because they just felt like it was people having fun online, but it takes a lot of work, creativity, time, and intellectual capacity to keep creating, being consistent, and evolving,” he shared.

Crazeclown, who first gained popularity in 2014 with his hilarious father-and-son skits alongside OG Tega, emphasized how the industry has expanded beyond comedy. “I’m seeing people from skit-making doing music, movies, and shows,” he noted, highlighting how skitmaking has evolved into a platform for other creative ventures.
