Coach Kabir Dogo leaves role as Kwara United head coach ahead of new season

Coach Kabir Dogo has resigned from his position as head coach of Kwara United football club. The Ilorin-born gaffer left his role to re-join his former club, Nasarawa United immediately.

Kwara United in a swift reaction appointed Coach Tunde Sanni as the head coach on an interim capacity.

This much was confirmed in a statement signed by the club media officer, Ismail Ayodeji, who confirmed that Coach Dogo submitted the resignation himself to the club’s chairman, Kumbi Titiloye, who expressed his support for Dogo’s decision, wishing him well at his new club.

He further confirmed that the club is working on the official presentation of Tunde Sanni as the head coach.

 

Kwara United is set to face Niger Tornadoes in their first match of the new NPFL season next weekend in Ilorin.
