Nigerian entertainer and former President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Charly Boy, has criticized the Nigerian government following the seizure of three presidential jets in France.
A French court recently impounded the jets, including a newly purchased Airbus A330 worth over $100 million. The seizures are tied to a legal battle between the Nigerian government and Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Ltd., a Chinese company.
Reacting to the incident, Charly Boy raised serious concerns about the transparency and legitimacy of the Nigerian government. He questioned why the jets were in France and what this says about the administration’s integrity.
“The seizure of three Nigerian presidential jets in France has caused widespread confusion and embarrassment. This legal dispute, involving the Ogun State government and the Chinese company Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Ltd., raises serious questions,” Charly Boy remarked.
He further criticized, “What are three Nigerian government jets doing in France? Is this Tinubu’s second home? Can an illegitimate and illegal government ever come clean? Why are so many Nigerian criminals within the APC being deported from the US?”
