The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially confirmed the revised schedule for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN). According to CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, the tournament will now take place from February 1 to 28, 2025, in Kenya.
This adjustment provides participating teams with ample preparation time and ensures a smooth organization of the competition. The CHAN tournament, exclusively featuring players from their respective domestic leagues, showcases the best of African football talent.
The first round of qualifiers for the 2024 CHAN is slated for the weekend of October 25-27, 2024. This initial stage will set the stage for the road to Kenya, where Africa’s top national teams will converge to vie for continental glory. The revised dates demonstrate CAF’s commitment to delivering a successful and thrilling competition.
