The Magaji of Gaa Aremu, Mallam Abdulrasaq Jimoh, has extended warm Ramadan greetings to Muslims in Gaa Aremu and its environs, urging residents to embrace the spiritual lessons of the holy month.
In a statement released to commemorate the commencement of Ramadan, the community leader described the fasting period as a sacred time for reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to the worship of Almighty Allah.
According to him, Ramadan goes beyond abstaining from food and drink, noting that it is a season that teaches patience, self-discipline, compassion for the less privileged, and peaceful coexistence.
The Magaji called on residents to use the opportunity of the holy month to strengthen unity within the community, promote love and harmony, and contribute meaningfully to initiatives that will foster growth and development in Gaa Aremu.
He further encouraged Muslims to intensify prayers for peace, progress, and prosperity in the community and the nation at large.
Mallam Abdulrasaq Jimoh prayed that Allah accepts the fasts, supplications, and good deeds of the faithful, and grants everyone the grace to witness many more Ramadans in good health and prosperity.
