Ikorodu City FC has officially made known the resignation of Head Coach Bright Ozebagbe, effective immediately, through a tweet on their X page.
Ozebagbe’s departure comes from a disappointing performance against Plateau United. Despite successfully leading the Lagos-based side to promotion from the Nigeria National League, Ozebagbe struggled to replicate this success in the Nigerian top flight and only picked a point so far.
In a statement released on the club’s X handle, Ikorodu City FC confirmed Ozebagbe’s resignation, bringing an end to his tenure.
Ozebagbe’s exit marks a new chapter for Ikorodu City FC, who will now seek a replacement to steer the team towards better fortunes in the Nigerian Premier Football League.
