Nigerian rap icon Reminisce has shared how his 2013 album Alaga Ibile skyrocketed him to stardom after selling over 13 million units at the Alaba market. In an interview on the I Said What I Said podcast, the rapper recalled how his debut album had limited success, but Alaga Ibile was the game-changer.

“The second album that really broke was Alaga Ibile. It did like 13 million units in Alaba and that was the moment my life really changed,” Reminisce said.

The album featured hits like “Daddy Mi” with Davido and “Eleniyan” featuring Wizkid, solidifying his title as Alaga Ibile.
