The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has now officially declared new dates for the 2024/2025 Champions League and Confederation Cup group stage. This change comes after CAF President Patrice Motsepe revealed the qualification schedule for the Championship of African Nations (CHAN).
The revised dates were deemed necessary to avoid conflicts with other competitions. As a result, the group stage will now commence on November 26-27, with subsequent matchdays scheduled as follows:
– Matchday 1: November 26-27
– Matchday 2: December 6-8
– Matchday 3: December 13-15
– Matchday 4: January 3-5
– Matchday 5: January 10-12
– Matchday 6: January 17-19
Note that the knockout round dates remain unchanged.
