Idowu Adeyemi, better known as Yhemolee, a prominent media personality, has cautioned couples against the practice of checking their partner’s phone in an attempt to monitor for infidelity.

The nightlife influencer, who recently married his longtime partner, Thayour B, emphasized the potential psychological harm that can come from such behavior. He warned that the discoveries made while snooping could lead to emotional distress, and in extreme cases, even life-threatening consequences.

In a video shared on his Instagram account, Yhemolee recounted a troubling experience. “A friend called me this morning,”he began, “telling me his fiancée was in the hospital, struggling to breathe. When I asked if she had any pre-existing condition, he said no, she had gone through his phone overnight.”

He continued by urging people to resist the temptation of looking through their partner’s devices, warning that the consequences could be dire. “If you die from what you find, the person who caused your heartbreak will simply move on,”he remarked, adding that his friend confirmed his fiancée would be emotionally devastated by the contents of his phone, possibly leading to long-term trauma.
